2013 Tasar World Championships
Cascade Locks, Oregon USA
August 9-17
The 2013 Tasar World Championships hosted by the North American Tasar Association (NATA) and Columbia Gorge Racing Association (CGRA) will be held at Cascade Locks, Oregon August 9-17.
The 1996 Tasar Worlds was the first major event to be held at Cascade Locks when CGRA was just getting started as an organization. Now, CGRA enjoys a reputation for excellence in regatta management and continues to host a growing number of premier one-design, national and world championship regattas. NATA has made the decision on the venue now due to the incredible demand for this world-class venue. Follow the link to CGRA at www.cgra.org to see more information about CGRA and the venue.
The August date will provide the best likelihood of great weather and great wind. The particular week chosen will provide a great opportunity for early arrivals to sail the Columbia Gorge One Design Regatta (CGOD) the weekend preceding the Worlds.
